MISSION
Improving the education and living conditions of the Maya population in Guatemala.
Goal
Improving the education and living conditions of the Maya population in Guatemala, particularly the Maya living in the villages of San Juan La Laguna and San Pablo La Laguna on Lake Atitlan.
The foundation seeks to achieve through the goal:
- Supporting a day care for people with disabilities in San Juan La Laguna.
- A scholarship that some children and young adults financially will have the opportunity to attend school.
- A social fund that springs into action in emergencies and occasional mini-lending.
Foundation Maya supports:
The notarial deed has been made by notary M.H.A.M .Oonk at Vlissingen, The Netherlands, and has been registered in the Chamber of Commerce number 22061276.
- 01-01-2007 the foundation has got the status of (A.N.B.I.) This means gifts are tax deductible.
