The Social Fund.

In recent years the Foundation assisted many times when harrowing situations arose. Among other things this includes paying the costs of transport to a hospital, medical examinations, medicine, etc. A small number of single elderly people and widows receive a monthly allowance in order to buy essential goods. There is also a small scale loan service for various purposes, e.g. the purchase of a sewing machine for setting up a sewing facility, the purchase of pots and pans needed for starting a restaurant on the street, the purchase of some piglets at the start of a pig farm. A sign language course for employees of the Centre and other interested parties was paid out of this fund..
